WARD kitchen The concept of this kitchen is built on collecting financial and in-kind donations like vegetables, beans, meat, chicken, dates, bread, fruits, soft drinks and water, so that hundreds of meals are cooked, packed and distributed daily.

This is done free of charge to the needy, destitute, affected families and unemployed individuals due to the spread of poverty in our society.

This kitchen aims to employ a number of women, heads of household, for the purpose of empowering and generating returns to build up their society.

WARD organization kitchen is ready to prepare whatever a lady needs for events and occasions, by making various types of pastries and oriental dishes.

In addition, we prepare oriental provisions such as makdous, jams, pickles, pomegranate molasses, blossom water and rose water, to preserve the heritage of the Lebanese food and return to normal healthy eating habits.

Moreover, our kitchen has been rehabilitated and set up with modern equipment in accordance with the measures and standards of healthy and nutritious eating.

Our kitchen has achieved a distinguished name in Tripoli and is a destination for gourmets.

Mouneh

“A house without mortar is not worthy”. Since ancient times, mortar has been an essential part of the Lebanese family's traditions, and many families are keen to adhere to this tradition, despite the absence of most of the reasons behind its creation.

In the past, our ancestors used to prepare “mouneh” before the onset of winter to store food and preserve it in harsh weather conditions.

As the summer season ends and autumn approaches, WARD kitchen begin preparing for the "mouneh", such as dried foods, pastries, cheese, figs, pomegranate molasses, tomato paste, pomegranate molasses, olives, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, keshk.

In addition to fruits as they are cooked and transformed into jams, including apricot jam, figs, peaches, cherries, apples, strawberries, pears, pumpkin, etc.

The financial feedback of the “mouneh” goes as charity to the needy people in Tripoli.
