It is believed that the humanitarian and economic situation in Lebanon has reached the worst level in the country's history; therefore, many individual initiatives were taken to reduce the poverty prevailing in the community.
Unemployment, high cost of living and unpaid labor are the leading causes of the poor population in Tripoli. From here, WARD organization in cooperation with donors and charitable people launched the initiative of bread and foodstuff distribution to the poorest and most needy areas in Tripoli and its suburbs, like Al Hara Al Berraniye, Al-Mina, Al-Hara Al Jadida, Al Nejmeh, Bab Al Raml, Al Aswek Al dakhiliye, Tebbaneh, Abi Samra and Ras Al Sakhr areas.
